First Snowfall-November 30, 2011

As I am praying for safe travels for all those driving, I had to throw my coat on and capture some of this morning's beauty while someone is still sleeping. It is absolutely amazing outside. I know traveling in this weather is stressful, but once you arrive at your destination, take a moment to thank your guardian angels. Whenever we go in the car, we tell our little mister to say,"Guardian Angel Initiation, Please!!!" It may seem kind of child-like, but God knows what we mean;) More pictures to come!! I'm sure we'll be out playing in the snow today!!

 My little guy's first time walking in the snow!!! He loves it!! One of the great things about being a parent: Being a kid all over again!!!

Family and Friends Christmas Session-2011

Swans

      I am once again blessed to know this wonderful family. They are so supportive of my photography endeavors and I could not get better without all the amazing support I am surrounded by!

                         This is their first Christmas as a family of four and how fun it will be!!

A Handsome Haircut, Mud Puddles, and a Big Black Dog

Little mister got his first haircut today and it went really well:) He wanted to get out and play on this beautiful day with Grammie and Papa's dog, Shadow. They had alot of fun running around, picking up sticks and playing in the mud puddles!

Maternity Photo Session- J&T

Thankfully in life God blesses you with amazing people and friends; friends that are more like family. My best friend is married to my husband's best friend so we are pretty much in it for the long haul. I was most honored to be asked to capture memories of one of the most exciting journies they are about to embark on: Parenthood. Their sweet little girl is not even here yet and I can tell they are going to be amazing parents!!
I am just getting into photography and they were so patient with me as I tried new things and struggled here and there with getting the right shot. Practice makes perfect, so I am very thankful for the experience I had today. There are some really beautiful shots, and I did get a little emotional while taking the pictures at the love that was so evident through my lens.

November 11 point

Well, my favorite hunter in the world picked a great day to take off. He has been on a mission this week. Bound and determined to get that big buck!!! With a few prayers said and a huge answer, he got one!!! After a 2 hour hunt and 11 deer, he took this 11 point!!! Our little mister came out with me in the wagon and helped daddy and I haul the big buck out of the woods, what a great helper he is!! What a blessing to have food for the table and memories made in our backyard:)

Sandhill Cranes and a Few More Fall Shots

Wow! I have been wanting to get some pictures of the Sandhill Crane couple that frequent our yard. They like to spend time in the pasture with our horses. They are very regal and opinionated creatures that is for sure.

While most of the leaves have been falling, the beautiful maples are showing off their stuff right now.
